1. The graduand/degree awardees who have registered and paid the necessary fees of INR 1500 only will be permitted to receive the degree. ​In case, if registration is already done along with the registration fee ( 2019 graduands), you have to still confirm your participation using the link posted on the registration page.   

2. The degree awardees on arrival will have to register their names in the Reception Office at the venue to receive the Admit card and academic attire (Gown and Hood).

3. Each graduand can be accompanied by a maximum of only one Guest and the guests will be accommodated outside the ceremony hall with live feed of the graduation ceremony.   The entire graduation ceremony is webcasted. The URL for the youtube livestream of the graduation day is

4. All the graduands, receiving the degrees should occupy their seats by 11.00 AM. on 14.08.2023

5. Graduands coming late will not be permitted entry into the ceremony hall.

6. Graduands shall occupy the correct seats allotted to them

7. All the degree awardees will have to rise in their place in silence:

        i) when the Academic Procession enters the Ceremony hall; and until all the dignitaries occupies his/her chair on the dais;

        ii) when Invocation and National Anthem are being played;

        iii) when the Academic Procession leaves the hall after the function. 

​Inside Ceremony Hall :

1. Inside the hall the graduands MUST switch off their cell phones and observe absolute silence throughout the proceedings.

2. After the HoD of the discipline concerned has read out the names of the candidates of a discipline, the graduands belonging to that discipline will remain standing, until they are admitted, to the degree.

3. After the HoD has admitted the graduands to the respective degree, candidates thereafter should walk to the dais one by one receive the degree from the Chief Guest, bow in acknowledgement and turn slightly to the right, for the cameraman to take photographs.

4. The graduands will then return to their original seat in an orderly fashion as per the directed path. It is also advised that the graduands /audience should not move away from the designated areas till the entire function is over

5. Graduands are not allowed to take photographs while they are in the hall. A photographer has been arranged by the University. His contact details are: Mr. Moorthy, Mobile no: 9944967248. The photographs can be collected on payment basis.

6. Please be reminded that graduands are not allowed to leave the hall during the ceremony.

7. At the end of the ceremony, graduands will quietly move out from the ceremony hall after the announcement is made.

8. Accompanying Guests are allowed to occupy seats in the place earmarked to them and due to the paucity of space, guests are requested to occupy seats early.

9. Any Act of disorderly conduct during the function is strictly prohibited. Any act of disorderliness warrants eviction from the hall by the security staff. Solemnity and Dignity of the occasion are to be preserved. The instructions are issued to all the graduands attending the Graduation day for strict adherence.  

Dress Code:

 All are required to pay due regard to formality and uniformity in their dress, Please note that the following dress code is to be maintained for the Degree Awardees on the Graduation Day:

 Male Candidates :

• Full sleeve, light coloured (white, light blue, light green, light yellow, cream) plain shirt,

• Dark-coloured full pants and

• Black full shoes.

[Striped, check or dark coloured shirts, T-shirts, striped or light coloured pants, sandals and chappals are not permitted].

Female Candidates :

• Saree of sober colour and decent design (or)

• Salwarkameez with shawl/thuppata

[Jeans, T-Shirts, skirts, Pants, Suits etc. are not permitted].
